Check air filter and clean throttle clean or replace Idle Air Control valve or mass air flow sensor depending on which one is on your vehicle replace fuel filter if have not done so in a while add fuel injector cleaner to gas tank and use the middle grade or high test gas to help clean out the gum and carbon build up.

Cleaned throttle body and replaced the idle air controller. Now there is a noise like a humming coming from the throttle body. Any suggestions?

Did you put the idle air control back on correctly sounds like its sucking in to much air. Did you clean the surface off good and install a new gasket.

Sorry do not no what else to tell you but to go over what you had done and make sure everything was put back together correctly. It has to have something to do with what was done to vehicle since it was not doing it before.
