02 Durango won't start

Asked by GuruDNQC3 Sep 04, 2017 at 02:02 PM about the 2002 Dodge Durango SLT 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

02 Durango was running fine and quit. Will not start it
turns over but will not start. Replaced ECM, crankshaft
sensor, camshaft sensor, map sensor, when you try to
start the throttle body it is sucking and pushing instead of
just sucking. What can we check next?!

Try the fuel system, have a 95 suburban with a smimilar issue, it was the fuel filter it was almost completely clogged, the only thing keeping it running was lucas fuel injector cleaner, becsuse of the filter it blew the fuel pump, replaced both of those, it runs like a champ

Could be a plugged catalytic converter. Can either unhook exhaust in front of converter or drill a hole above it and see if it starts then replace it.
