My recently purchased (used from a Honda dealer) 2012 Honda CRV-EX, with 44500 miles has a shaking/trembling/shimmy that was ORIGINALLY felt only in the Driver's & Passenger seats.

Asked by T_ville Mar 13, 2016 at 06:13 PM about the 2012 Honda CR-V EX-L FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Vibration/trembling/ is only felt when foot is on the Brake pedal in Drive, while
waiting for a Red traffic light. The trembling disappears if put into Neutral
while waiting or when foot is taken off the brake pedal when driving. It doesn't
do it in Park with foot on the Brake pedal.
Brought it back to the Dealer (of course their diagnosis was, "We don't feel
anything. And, they ALL run like that"!) They relented and I picked -up the
next day. Problem Worse! Now feeling it in the Steering wheel and Driver's
side Windows Control Buttons unit in the armrest. They Evacuated an
overcharged A/C system and recharged it and pronounced it fixed. Nope,
worse! SUV has a after market Trailer hitch.

Thanks. That's exactly where I bought and took it back to, Honda Dealership. Bringing it back there tomorrow before the 30 day warranty expires.

Brought it back to Honda Dealership yesterday. They checked motor mounts. No Prob. They would up stating to me that the Vibration is inherent to the 2012 Honda CRV! Despite bringing the very same 2012 CRV around to Compare. Difference was night & day! I'm at a Dead ent.
