when does the reset on fuel switch be used

The fuel switch as you call it, is also known as an Inertia switch, Impact Switch or Fuel Cut-off Switch. It's purpose is to shut off the fuel pump in the event of an accident (impact). The only time one would need to be reset is when the car has been in an accident or someone deliberately tripped it. They can go bad but seldom do.

just push the button..you will hear it click...if not hit it with something this will trigger it...after that just push the buttom down
