Idle issue

In my 2002 Dakota I was having a high idle issue. I
ordered a new IAC and replaced it but the idle was
even higher so I cleaned the old one and put it back
in. Now I feel that it's running to low of an idle (400-
600). It doesn't really die but I feel like it's trying.
Would it be smart to replace the today too?

Is the IAC moving? It sounds like it's bad, remember to give it time to relearn idle after changing it.

@Mike no it's not loose and it seems to be working betting now with the exception of the low idle. Before I replaced it I had to turn my AC off in order to change gears. Is there something I have to do to reset the IAC when I put in a new one and that's why the new one had an idle of 2500 RPM?
I know it's obd 2 but try this anyway. Disconnect battery let it sit for a short time reconnect then start and help it idle for the first couple minutes until it picks up the idle speed, then turn. On a/c and let idle again you may have to help for a minute or so when it settles down shut switch off and let it sit for a few minutes then start and road test through all gears

UPDATE:. So I put the new one in unplugged my battery and it's working fine... When my AC is off. Is that a TPS or a vacuum line? And if it's a vacuum line where would it be at?
