I have a 2004 Ford Focus ZTS that the alt will not charge the battery. Ive put a new battery in, changed the altenator twice, and checked fuses but it still gives and engine error code sayingregulator

Check the large fuse between your alt follow the recharge wire you will run into a black block inside that is a 150 or 175 amp fuse and the connection inside corrodes and will cause that problem i had the same thing happen 2004 ford focus zts 2.3 auto trans 240000 and still gets going real good
