You may have a Vacuum Leak. May need a smoke test from Garage. They will pump smoke into vacuum lines and find the leak. If your hearing hissing sounds that is a broken vacuum line. Another way to test is run the engine and use a can of starter fluid (Be Careful) but spray along the carb and see where the engine races and you can find the broken line. again be careful I'm not telling you to do that part. Just don't want to get anyone hurt.
