CD Player doesn't work

My CD player doesn't work it reads on the display 'error'. Is there anything i can do to fix this?

try unhooking your battery for a few minutes,is in default mode.

Mine is doing the same thing but we have done that and it still reads error then what do I do

I tried unhooking the battery hoping that would reset the computer(s). Didn't help.
