2003 neon 2.0

Asked by GuruZ58SD Oct 14, 2017 at 10:18 PM about the 2003 Dodge Neon SXT Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

03 dodge neon 2.0 timing belt broke while driving,
replaced timing belt. After start up it was missing on
cylinder 4, new plugs new coil getting fire and fuel. Gave
up and drove it like that for a while it missed at idle but
once accelerated it smoothed out. Now, cylinder 4 &1 is
dead both firing both getting fuel. I crunk it up today
running good no missing but as soon as I start giving it
throttle 1&4 cylinders are dead. Seems like it’s ok when I
crank it and it idles and soon as I push accelerator it’s like
it kills cylinder 1&4
