if you check the translucent coolant jug is it filled between "hot" and "Cold"??? what color is your coolant? brown?

I believe yours has a cable operated diverter valve that opens the coolant to the heater core~ examine the function with one person activate and the other at the diverter to see if it is movin'~

The blend door on these cars is cable actuated - it's possible for the blend door to bind up and prevent the door from diverting hot air through the heating ducts.

The blend door is built into the heater box... The dashboard needs to be removed to access it.

In this case the blend door can be checked from the passenger seat where there's an access panel so no need to pull the dashboard.
