03 Neon Overheats and sputters after changing water pump and thermostat

Driving it for 25-30 minutes is almost out of the question as
it overheats every time. Someone please help.

Sounds like it wasn't bled properly or the thermostat is bad or not installed properly

Also check the serpentine belt routing. Some water pumps are supposed to spin opposite the direction of the engine. If the belt is not installed correctly, the water pump may be spinning the wrong way! Hope that helps! Jim
