2006 honda pilot flashing engine light

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2006 Honda Pilot a little over 166k on the hwy engine light starts flashing,
sputtering and losing acceleration. History of car, the check engine light has
been on since I’ve had it (about 2 years) have had it hooked up and I think it
was an o2 sensor or something like that. Tank full of gas. No knocking, idles
at red lights and can’t really go uphill. I did wait too long for an oil change,
got it done and made sure there was transmission fluid, changed the air filter
and air intake hose. When I got the oil change they said that it was a blown
motor. But I’ve had a car with a blown motor and it’s nothing like it. I also had
a car that needed a catalytic converter and tune up and it seems comparable
to that. Changed all 6 spark plugs and ignition coils. Engine light is still
flashing and having problems with acceleration and going uphills still. Had it
hooked up again and its saying it needs a tune up even though ive already
done it. someone suggested i try a fuel cleaner but im too scared to drive it
very far and often. would resetting the computer help with this? i looked into
trying a cat cleaner but dont want to use 2 different cleaners at one time. ive
been working on this car for almost 2 months...
