Can I use the same size tires (255) in front and back?

It's NOT odd to have 30mm wider tires on the rear, approx 1-1/4" more width not much difference! quite a few cars are setup similarly.

Use what size is recommended. Some vehicles have problem with the traction control if the proper sized tires aren't used. My Mercury Marauder has staggered wheel sizes and if you were to use all the same size tires it causes the computer to throw a fit.

The rims are actually slight different size front and rear - so you can not use the same size tire on both. If you really want to get sticker shock - try replacing the 19" tires found on many SL's . Do not use the OEM tire which on an MB is often a High Performance summer tire. About 15k miles is all you will ever get from them. Go to an All Season - such as Continental - and you will be much happier.

I have a 2012 MB c250, 225 Front/245in the back. I will like to put the 245 in the front and 255 in the back. Is that alright

No Orlando. The wider tires goes in the rear. They arent interchangeable. You will have serious stability issues.

Engineers have spent an extraordinary amount of time on the decision of tire and wheel size on your car. Yes, not only are your tires a different width front to rear, the wheels are as well. There is no dynamic benefit to a larger tire in the front of this vehicle. Some may think it looks better, it will wear the front tires in a odd way and rotation of the stock wheels with the same width of tire will most likely result in the wider rear wheel rubbing on the front strut. Stick with the factory wheels or a set of MB wheels. I've worked on hundreds of cars that have been modified with every different combination of wheels and tires under the sun from the after market and nearly every one of these vehicles suffered from poor handling and quirky dynamics.

You rotate them side to side. If the tires are directional you should not rotate them. The tire side wall will be marked if they are directional with either an arrow or left and right.

I suppose you could remount the tires reversed to rotate them but that would get expensive.
