Engine Swap

Asked by dmissi72 Nov 23, 2015 at 01:04 PM about the 2003 Dodge Durango SLT 4WD

Question type: Car Customization

I'm looking to do an engine swap. 4.7l - 5.7 or 5.9l. What would be the best fit, a 5.7l hemi or 5.9l?
I hear with the 5.7 I can use my existing tranny and PCM, is this correct?

This should be correct as the 5.7 hemi actually is an option in the car and would require less modification than the 5.9 to get it into the car I do believe
