2012 Chevy Equinox Squeaks

Asked by PeepsWidow Apr 16, 2018 at 12:12 PM about the 2012 Chevrolet Equinox 2LT FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2012 Chevy Equinox that I bought brand new
with only 36 miles on it. I immediately began having issues
with squeaking noise and have had the vehicle back at the
dealer more than 20 times regarding this issue. Now the
noise is so bad, you can hear it inside and outside the
vehicle and I find it does it more when the SUV is warm or
it’s hot outside. I get nothing but the run around from the
dealer and service technicians because I’m a female. I’m
fed up and want to know what is the problem causing the
noise so it can be fixed properly. If anyone knows what
this issue is, please let me know. Thanks.
