as soon as i turn the key on the windsheild wiper fuse under the hood blows.

Wipers were working fine then stopped. I found out that as soon as I turn the ignition on the fuse under the hood blows. doesn't matter if the switch is on or not for the wipers.

The motor or the wires going to it must have a short to ground. Unplug the connector at the wiper motor and see if it clears it ... if it does don't panic ,, wiper motors are cheap on Ebay
