Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I noticed a faint humming sound this morning.  I turned the radio off and it was still humming.  Then turned off the AC and it stopped.  When I turned AC back on, the sound came back.

Probably just the compressor running. I wouldn't worry about it. Unless you mean it's humming through the radio? Not sure what you mean by turned off radio and still humming...from the radio?

Lol! Sorry that wasn't clear. I turned off the radio thinking it was static or some odd background sound. Probably should have left that piece out of original post.

That video is one somebody took to ask if the sound was normal. from a Corolla but would be same

You might want to run this test. With the AC on and the compressor running, spray a little water on the drive belt Use a discarded spray bottle. If the noise changes in sound...you might need a new drive belt. If the noise stays about the same...you may have a bad compressor bearing.
