Fuel sending unit with fuel pump attached?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1987 Dodge D150 5.2L. Just bought
it. It has all the extra lights on the outside I
think it was one of the luxury models. Maybe
the Royal but not sure. Power windows.  So I
dropped the tank and pulled out the fuel
sending unit and it has a Fuel pump attached
to it?? I thought they didn’t put fuel pumps on
until 88. I think it’s a 30 gallon gas tank but
could be 20 or 22 maybe. Not sure how I can
check that?  It also has the mechanical fuel
pump on the side of the block in passenger
side? What should I do cause it was running
fine the gas guage just quit working literally
right after I filled it up so I wanted to replace
the fuel sending unit and the old rubber lines
they were leaking a bit. Any suggestions!! Part
numbers would be great too . Thank You!!
