Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I push the gas my RPM will go up to 3 and I feel like loss of power and/or hesitation. When I let off the gas the RPM will go down. RPM will also go up and down as I'm accelerating.

When you push on the gas the RPM's are supposed to go up. Everything you describe sounds normal except for the hesitation which might mean you need a tune up.

Yes, I know the RPM's are supposed to go up, but it seems high for the speed. As soon as I push the gas it goes right up there and its never been like that before. For example, I'm at 10mph and the needle is at 3 and the car seems to not want to go. Does this make sense? What do you think?

Maybe the transmission is slipping. I would check the transmission fluid level and maybe take it to a good transmission shop.

ok, that's what I'm scared of...yikes. I am taking it in so I will do that. Thank you so much for your advise and time!!
