New 2012 Toyota Highlander won't start

We bought our 2012 Toyota Highlander 8 months ago. Its been wonderful driving it. Took it to Toyota dealer for
routine 6 month maintenance. We even drove it on several long & short trips since. This morning when I tried to
start the car, the engine's not turning on.  Tried the remote starter key even -instead of the sound indicating the
engine turning on,I hear a faint buzzing.  The battery indicator on the display shows red.
What could be the problem??How can there be an issue with battery so soon???Im feeling totally depressed- Can
someone pls help??
