No bus

Asked by Rj Apr 17, 2017 at 09:42 PM about the 2004 Dodge Dakota SXT Club Cab RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Took my dash apart to install new radio in 2004
dodge Dakota sxt 3.7l 6 cylinder. There was a relay
on a red wire for the radio wasnt sure why the
radio needed a relay so i did away with it. Now it
my dash says no bus, none of my gauges work and
all warning lights are on. Any ideas what i did
wrong? Should I just re attach the relay? Definitely
could use some help

No Bus means no communication from the ECU to the instrument cluster. You must have disconnected something.
