Relay switch

Asked by Aug 06, 2017 at 02:16 PM about the 2005 Dodge Stratus SXT

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

How can I tell if the relay switch has gone bad in
my car the car won't start and it vibrates when we
try to start it the relay switch does can someone let
me know

Quickest way is to swap it out with another relay in the box or if u have a volt meter, check for voltage in the socket where relay plugs in. There's 2 terminals that should have voltage to ground. 1 is when u try to start it and the other one is the one feeding the relay contacts after a fuse. If relay is clicking when u start it, you probably have a blown fuse
