2012 Jeep Liberty with 65,000 miles with bad cylinder.

Asked by KAPHBG717 Jul 23, 2018 at 09:34 PM about the 2012 Jeep Liberty Sport 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My liberty never had any issues. With 65,000 miles on it, it just died last week
and I eventually had it towed to the dealer after the first service spot wouldn't
touch it. I'm being told that one of the cylinders is bad and I need a new $7000
engine. It is paid off and the dealer would offering $2500 for trade as is. Do I
invest or unload?

1 Answer

Agreed. Thanks. Working on that, just in a tough spot not being able to take it anywhere and it is hostage at the dealer. Thank you.
