2012 Jeep Wrangler 46K miles

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I took Jeep to dealer because of check Engine Light. The Dealer tells me I
need a Cylinder Head which is covered under Warranty.....also new Rockers
Arms and Camshaft.....Repair cost $1240.00. I ask how soon can get car
back they tell me in a 2 days.....I questioned the need for Rocker Arm and
Camshaft and how did they determined this was needed without removing
top of engine....After all the car was running fine!! I declined the Rocker Arm
and Camshaft repair only wanting the Cylinder Head repair covered under
Warranty. They told me the Cylinder Head was on backorder and it would
take 3 months to get part........UMMMM....but If I had agreed to the $1240.00
repair they could complete all repairs in 2 days including Warranty
work.....Are there any honest repair shop in the DMV that will complete the
Warranty work??

Maybe the head comes as an assembly but only the head itself is covered? Demand an explanation.
