the mechanic I took the jeep to found out that the water pump they sold me was backwards. there's like a star in the back of the water pump. The part that goes into the motor. well, that star I didnt know that there was left and right. the water pump fit right but it was a model for a grand cherokee not a sport,. so instead if pumping water into the motor the water pump wouldnt allow the water to go in. also,we romoved the thermostat for a more flouent flow of water. jeep is running great now.

You might have a cracked cylinder head or Head gasket do a pressure teston the engine and if it's losing radiator pressure you will know and make sure your oil dipstick doesn't have white cream on it that means the coolant is going into your crankcase past the head gasket.
