My neon just all of a sudden the check engine light
came on car started to stall out and when i
checked with the code reader. The code camw

Cam shaft position sensor error ...replace the cam shaft position sensor

Worst case after replacing sensor is the wiring to the sensor.

Yea but the code is specifically sensor circuit error. And this is a common with this Mopar/Chrysler product, even on my 97 dakota this item failed, and when I asked the dealer why does it just fail they respond with the enginer didnt plan on the engine to ever warm up and they just fail under a heat load

My engine light came on I have a 2004 Dodge Neon I’ve had no problems when it happened other than a hole in muffler why would engine light come on
