2005 Dodge neon will not start

I get power to my car won't turn over. It just clicks.
I'm hoping it's not the starter or alternator going
out. My coworker said battery could be corroded
due to alternator draining the cells. My battery
terminals are corroded so I'm gonna start with that.
Someone said it could be my wire connected to the
starter got loose. When I was idling with it in park in
the past it acted like it wanted to die.

Edit: I get power such as dashboard lights and all other electrical stuff works but won't turn over. It also had a new computer installed about 10 months ago.
