I have a 2005 dodge neon the Catalan converter is bad can I still a whole in it until I can get it fix in two weeks?

You may find that punching a hole in it is almost as much work as fixing it. First you need something to drill the hole with (3/4 hole saw) then you need something to punch out the honeycombed cat... and trust me, you may need to do some serious pounding to punch all the way through... finally you have to make an airtight patch in the Cat or you car may emit Carbon Monoxide into the car in addition to the car sounding like your on a drag strip. Take it to Midas or some other exhaust place ... You don't want to be under a car in this weather
