Will replacing the two lower control arms on a neon '05 sxt help perfomance become smoother and less vibrating issues?

Asked by jamesmoore39 Apr 26, 2014 at 05:15 PM about the 2005 Dodge Neon SXT Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have 2005 neon sxt which have changed the motor mounts, engine rebuild at 114 due
to timing belt going bad, etc. Now the lower control arms are shot, one really bad where
it's come out practically and am replacing with new arms/parts now.  Will this calm the
vibrating down significantly usually?

Thanks

Actually it will improve your performance and acceluration take off. will make the tires stick to the road more firm, you can buy custom control arms that are for racing. might be few bucks more but well worth it.

it will also take away any annoying clunks you hear when going over bumps

Thank you both. I replaced both control arms and it is 99% better! Except a slight remaining vibration when at a stop sign or light, it runs great and is much tighter steering.
