my 05 dodge neon the dash lights start blinking on an off.what could this be?

as I drive the dash lights my dash lights go on and off and sometimes it stops
running but it starts right back up.Any ideas?

It could be from a loss of electrical power from the battery. Check the cable connections and all grounds, make sure terminals are on tight. Move the cables around, it may be an intermittent break. If battery is near it's end of life (4-5 years) have it tested.
