I'm looking at buying a 2012 VW Jetta TDI manual. The dealer is offering a lifetime warranty (& free oil chgs) on the powertrain after the mfg warranty runs out (5yrs/60,000 miles), at no cost to us. Is this a good deal?

Thank you Len and Tom for your advise. I feel like there was something I'm not seeing. Buying a manual TDI, is out of my comfort zone. Thank you again.
