2005 Dodge Caravan SXT

Asked by Heather Mar 30, 2016 at 03:53 PM about the 2005 Dodge Caravan SXT FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Brake lights and rear turn signals out both sides.
No hazard lights in rear either. The back up lights
and tail lights work though. Checked bulbs and
fuses, both look ok. Left side went first, right side a
month later. Any suggestions?

Have you actually changed the bulbs? If not thats where I'd start. If thats not the issue it could be the wiring harnesses for each light housing unit (slamming or closing the hatch causes parts to come loose over time) and they may be coming disconnected. Let me know if these don't work, Ill keep an eye on your post.

Woohoo!!!! It worked!!! Thank you so much! When I first looked at the bulbs, the filaments looked in tact, but I changed them anyway per your suggestion and they lit up! Such a huge relief! XoXo
