Oil and engine light come on

If the oil light came on, the engine shut off, and it makes a clicking noise when you try to restart it, as best I can tell from the information you provided, the engine could be locked up due to lack of oil. The engine light was on because a code was set, a scanner will be needed to pull the codes.

    have 2005 dodge stratus sxt automatic. Just had oil changed, plenty of oil. After driving about 10 minutes oil light will come on when car idles, goes out when car is in motion.
