Dodge Journey passenger side heat

Asked by GuruXPT2D Nov 10, 2018 at 04:42 PM about the 2010 Dodge Journey Crew FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ok, so my Dodge Journey has with in
the year had a new radiator. Less
than a year ago had a new heater
core and power back flush. Two days
ago we had the heater core warranty
replaced because after summer we
had heat on drivers side not pass.
Side. They also re-power flushed it.
All heat vents worked for 2 days.
Pass vents have sence crapped out
again. Actuators are good. Mechanic
is stumped. While “working” on it
myself, I noticed in park I have all
heat, after driving for about 45 to an
hour the pass heat drops again. So
damn confused.ive read every post I
can. It isn’t leaking anything, temp
gauge is not in question,  my sanity
feels like it is. I know many people are
having similar issues, but I need
help..

I am having the same exact problem with mine!!! It’s in the shop right now to figure out what’s going on and my mechanic doesn’t know either! He has replaced actuators flushed heater core and has checked everything he can think of!!!

Jack up front end, take off coolant reservoir cap and start car turn heat on and let run and bleed out the air. I was stumped over this and tried all above fixes but when i read its air in the coolant lines and bled them out right it works fine sense.
