Why is my defrost not clearing moisture off the windows?

Check too see if the A/C compressor is cycling with the defrost on, they use the A/C to dry the air, if it's not working it could be low on 134A. Sometimes opening a window slightly while driving can help with moisture build up.

To add, if the windows in the car are fogged or iced on the inside, you have moisture in the car. Pick up the floor mats and check the carpets for wetness. You have to dry the carpets and find the reason for the leak, such as a bad seal or clogged drain hole. If the fogging is a wet oily film coming out the defrost vents, then you have a leaky heater core.

The air inlet door was stuck in the recirculate position. The actuator lost track of its position and apparently locked itself out. It started working after reinstallation, for how long, don't know yet...possibly will need a new recirculation door actuator.
