2012 T&C Relay System Battery Drainage

Asked by GuruTVDYD Feb 20, 2020 at 01:51 PM about the 2012 Chrysler Town & Country Limited FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So if any one can assist me with this question i'd be sincerely grateful.  My
2012 T&C's battery dies overnight every night.  I took it to a local shop,
where I was told that it was a relay response system ( I want to say fuel
pump, but not 100% certain) that is drawing from the battery.  I researched to
see if there are any recalls on it for my vehicle and see absolutely none,.
Was also told the part for my particular vehicle wasn't being made due to not
being recalled.  Do I have to deal with this until it IS recalled or what else can
I do?

Everybody knows about this problem. There is a kit available for less than $30 USD to fix it. Just google "town and country fuel relay problem" and you should find more than enough information to solve your problem. If you are mechanically inclined and have a soldering gun you can do the work yourself.
