I have a 2006 Dodge Durango and this morning on my way to work the message 9ASCAP came up where my milage usually is. Does anyone know what that means.

instead of turning on a check engine light for a P0442 small evap leak, its letting you know that your gas cap isnt on correctly, try going out and tightening it a few more clicks that should fix the problem

And remember always to shut off your engine when you pump gas or you will also get this message. If it does not work to tighten the gas cap you might need a new gas cap. You also might have to reset the computer to get rid of the message, you can disconnect your negative connector on the battery for 2 minutes to reset the computer.
