Where can I find an OEM Navigation system for my 2012 Sorento.

Asked by Chris4ND Mar 05, 2012 at 09:10 AM about the 2012 Kia Sorento EX

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I have a 2012 Sorento with the UVO system. I want to swap this out for a OEM Nav system that will allow all of the features of the UVO system to still work.

The UVO radio unit houses the UVO software, so those features "jukebox/etc." will not work if the radio is replaced with the Navigation radio unit as the nav unit has its own software installed. Correct me if I'm mistaken in what you were asking. If you replaced the radio unit with the nav unit, the steering wheel functions might still work depending on the wiring harness differences of the vehicle between the two system; though I'd imagine that they'd be the same, so that the buttons would still work the same even if the voice activated commands change.
