i just got a 1995 Chrysler hsl you start to drive and it dont want to go into the gears an no reverse but you stop amd shut it off and restart it goies like nothing is wrong what could be wrong

3 things. 1 ) could be filters clogging 2) solenoids or output speed sensor if check engine light on 3) torque converter acting up or not getting full pressure of fluids

Could be lack of fluid pressure in transmission. Any noises coming from it? Whining?
