I agree with Rowefast, maintenance is key and as long as the car is serving you, what difference does it make, cars are meant to be driven. I've seen taxi drivers with 200,000 miles or more on a 2013 car. Remember that resale value is only important if you intend to sell and if you plan on holding onto your car until 200,000 to 250,000 miles it makes no difference at all.

Rowefast , well, depending on the model and mileage, there's a $1,650 penalty for being so high on this car. Again, doesn't matter until you sell the car.

And I am not buying it. You know I'd buy a car that is 25 yrs. and older...l.o.l.

Rowefast, I know that you like older cars, but I imagine you have seen this. Fact is, newer cars are actually safer. http://www.autoblog.com/2009/09/26/pics-aplenty-iihs-reveals- before-and-after-of-malibu-bel-air-cr/

Ya I know, when a new car gets hit it is totaled, but your life is saved. But what I got a chuckle over the other day, I found a 1970 Chevy Nova for sale like in good condition but not restored, that my mother use to drive, and it is worth more than her new 2013 Ford Fusion with 30,000 miles on it. At the time I didn't know what to do with it, I wish I had somewhere to have put it for all these years.

That's nostalgia for you! I looked up a 1956 Porsche 356 Speedster, don't know why they called them that, they really weren't all that fast. Anyway, car sold brand new back then for $3,250. Now, its worth over $250,000.
