2012 Buick Lacrosse tire diameter

My Buick Lacrosse rides low with the original
235/50/18 tires. The bottom slightly drags on my
driveway every time I exit and enter the highway
out front and whenever I am not on solid
pavement. I am close to needing new tires.  Would
changing to 235/60/18 tires fit my car and also
meet my goal of raising it an inch to give me more
clearance?  Not worried about the speedometer
difference but don't want any drag issues in the
wheel wells!

Those tires would raise your car about 0.9" but make sure you have wheel well clearance! If not try 55 series tires.

F_O_R, Thanks but I am hoping somebody will know whether my Buick Lacrosse would have the wheel well clearance to handle this tire size before I buy them. A suggestion to mount one to see if it fits is not really feasible.

Take a look and measure the clearance! Your tire shop can help you out and maybe even do a trial fit.
