Question type: Maintenance & Repair

1998 Sebring JXI convertible: I broke the housing of the passenger side side
view mirror. Picked up a used one at a junkyard and when I plugged it in, it blew
the 5 amp fuse. I thought it was defective, so I purchased another one. Same
result. Is it a short, and how do I find it?

No I didn't. However after blowing the fuse twice, I attached the broken mirror and it worked. So after posting my question, I'm now wondering if it could be that my car isn't setup for heated mirrors and that it is pulling to much juice. I bought this car used and don't know if my mirrors are heated or not. Thanks for your input.
