okay here we go I have a 1998 Chrysler Sebring and it runs fine when its cold but as soon as it warms up to temperature it off and dies. But not all the time, sometimes it runs through a week.

I've been told it's my computer I've been told its my ignition module, and now I've
gotta scream coming Out of one of my pulleys,and I'm the beginning to think its
my alternator now,on top of all the other things that are going on. Can my
computer malfunction cause my alternator to go out? And why does it only do it
most of the time and not all the time? I am very ashamed to say that I used to call
myself a mechanic, but electrical is never been my forte. Can somebody please
help me out and give me some advice that I can probably use? I would appreciate
any input

Usually a squeal as you say,may be bearing in alternator,or one of your idler,s,,the ecm would not cause this issue,and it probably has to heat up,is the reason you don,t hear it all the time.

And for the cut off,sometime,s,,same issue,the one that is bad is pulling engine back,making it cut off,

I have a 2001 Chrysler Sebring, 2.7L. It recently overheated, n I had to add coolant, as it was empty. Yesterday, it overheated, but instead of the temperature gauge going up, it dropped all the way DOWN, past the C...the car has no heat, and overheats immediately when the car is warm.
