My Durango keeps setting off the laser detector on my radar detector. I've moved it around the dash, but it keeps going off sporatically. What is causing it?

I thought it was the auto cruise control that was setting it off, but it does it even when the ACC is off.

I know my radar detector goes off when I drive pass some automatic door openers.

your front window has 4 sensor locations that allow infrared and so on to beam through for items like toll bridge, garage door, the location is the area behind the rearview mirror and the others are on the A pilars..look for the speckled black dots. Good luck.
