Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a new to me 2003 Toyota Solara Convertible and the top has been put down & up a few times, but now it won't latch.  It is approximately 1" from latching, even in the manual mode.  Its as if the manual button doesn't override the system.  Help before I have to take it to Toyota.

Thank you Mark, owners manual does not give direction to that so I will have a shop adjust it.
