Why would a Plymouth breeze loose oil

My car is losing oil and I don't know why

On a vehicle of that age there are many reasons it will loose oil, beside external leaks, there are rings, valve guides seals and a PCV system that all cause oil loss or consumption. Some things to look for is a blue haze of smoke out the tail pipe, sometimes only during acceleration or deceleration like going down a hill, or if the car has sat overnight on intial start up is there a blue tint to the exhaust that only last a few seconds, all signs of an engine that is getting tired.
