Rear Differential gear oil change

'08 Subaru Imprezza Outback Sport Wagon w/ 50,000 mi. .  How often does the rear
differential oil need to be changed?

Not now, not at 50,000. I will have to look up what Subaru says, but not now for sure

Change at 100,000 then use Royal Purple 75w90 synthetic and you will never have to do it again..ever.

I just bought this Subaru and I noticed that the light keeps blinking on the dash. I checked and the oil that is in looks okay but I think I kinda smelled a burn smell on the stick.
