With all the electronics in cars, its difficult to say what is wrong. You could start by having the codes from the computer checked. It is likely that one of the sensors is failing but no way of knowing without some computer diagnostics. Auto Zone or Advanced Auto parts will usually check the codes for free. If that doesn't help, you will need to consult a repair shop.

If your car will not idle....but dies, that is a common sign of a vacuum leak. Check the vacuum lines on the engine for cracks, or broken plastic connections.
