Either a bad battery or bad alternator. If you own a volt meter or know someone that has one, I would test the battery to see how many volts it has. Since you just drove the car home, it should be pretty close to 12 volts. If the car won't start again, I would get it jumped, then test the hot side of your alternator. If not putting out 14 volts, you have a bad alternator. If no access to a volt meter, you can go to your nearest Autozone or another parts store and they will put a volt meter on your alternator for you. Don't buy a new battery before you have your alternator checked. Even with a new battery your car will be dead again if the alternator isn't charging.
