Asked by Kenny Sep 12, 2018 at 08:45 PM about the 2007 Ford F-150 Lariat SuperCrew 5.5ft Bed

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So my truck wouldn't crank the other day i bought a
new battery now it's done it a few more time since
but only after I park it after driving I have power to
everything inside the relay inside jus clicks when I
hold the key to start but dose nothing is it the
starter?

Sounds like the starter.just make sure to keep the battery %100. If it clicks, see if you can turn your lights on. If you can’t recharge the battery it might be the alternator. If you can and you try to turn over and it clicks or sounds like grinding, it’s probably the starter. Make sure the positive and negative wires are secure to the battery posts as well.
